Universal Music releases a series of Special Limited Edition Iron Maiden vinyl picture disc albums on heavyweight vinyl! Each picture disc is packaged is cut from the original album master tapes and housed in a gatefold cover with full color printed inner sleeves. The albums are to be issued in chronological order.

The sixth studio album released September 1986 was the follow-up to the hugely successful Powerslave/Live After Death pair and was the first to feature guitar synthesizers.

Somewhere In Time contains "Wasted Years" and "Stranger In A Strange Land" which were both written by guitarist Adrian Smith. Lead singer Bruce Dickinson's acoustic-based songs were rejected by the rest of the band.
