This is the UK stereo release of Martha & The Vandellas' first album for Motown, featuring the classic hits Heatwave, Then He Kissed Me and My Boyfriend's Back. The outer sleeve is completely pristine on the front, with an almost imperceptible touch of ringwear on the back. The inner sleeve is totally flawless, as is the vinyl itself -- which appears never to have been played. Overall condition is somewhere between Excellent and Near Mint. My Record Collector Price Guide values another pressing of this record (TML 11005) at £50-£60 but does not give a listing for STMS 5009. I don't know whether this is rarer or less rare. All I know is that it is in truly beautiful condition and contains some of the best pop soul songs of the 1960s.
