Title : Freedom city / Run shaker life
Format : Vinyl / 7" single
Year : 1970
Label : Polydor
Cat no : 56374
Matrices : Side A : 56374 A1 420 11 3
Side B : 56374 B1 420 11 4
VINYL - Is graded VG and under strong light shows a moderate amount of light scuffs, light surface marks. No major marks and no scratches. Vinyl still retains a shine and is overall still in great shape.
PLAY TEST - Vinyl plays through without any jumps or skips, sticks. Over all i grade it VG on play, with some light, moderate background noise on the beginning of both sides, that resides to leave the rest of the tracks to play through very well. Audio is clear.
LABELS - Are graded VG , Clean with no tears, rips or stickers. There is a small letter A written on side B (see photo's) but over all they are in generally great shape and all print is clear.
SLEEVE - Sleeve is a generic polydor company sleeve in VG+ condition.
A MEGA rare and holy grail mod freakbeak and incredibly tough record to source and on so many wants list worldwide. This is the original pressing with authentic matrix stamps on both sides not an inferior bootleg copy!
A superb slice of it's time and on every mod's wants list. This fantastic cover of Richie Havens "Run shaker life" is a percussion driven monster and from listening you will also get it's appeal.
Over all a nice example and it's sure to be a long time before another one turns up if at all...
My gradings are per RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE and are conservative in most cases and you will find your item is better than described condition. I never use mint unless the item is sealed, unopened , unplayed.
