David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars ( RCA 1972 UK very first pressing with 1-e / 1-e matrices. Titanic Music credits. Glossy orange labels . NO MainMan SF 8287 ). Exceptionally rare now the VERY FIRST pressing of probably THE most influential album of the 1970,s. By the time the record started selling in large amounts RCA were onto later matrices & copies of the original masters. This first master sounds far superior to all subsequent pressings or any digital reissues. Essential !! Single sleeve printed by Robert Stace has a bit of diagonal edge creasing and several thumb half moon traces. Slight edge wear at top and bottom. Nice crisp opening edges . Fully readable spine. No rips, tears or writing . VG PLUS. . Custom picture / lyric inner present pretty clean but has the inevitable diagonal edge creasing. VG PLUS. Original GLOSSY RCA Orange labels have the correct Titanic Music credits. And show only slight signs of turntable wear EX. Medium weight vinyl lies flat and true on the platter. Some hairlines from sleeve removal and clumsy stylus drops evident. Nothing deep or intrusive though. Fabulous audio . brilliant dynamic sound. As I said far and away the finest sound quality Ziggy there was / is. Hence the desire for the 1-e / 1-e original now. Aurallly excellent but I will visually grade therefore officially grade the disc as VERY GOOD. VERY RARE NOW ! Gradings as per : Record Collector Grading System definitions. Dealer & collector since 1974. All photos are of actual record for sale.
