Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   EX  SUPER CLEAN CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the 1ST 'Grail' pressing from 1971 with those etchings and FLY LABELS

- Stored from new this LP has seen well below average plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

THIS REALLY IS A STUNNING PLAY COPY- WITH HARDLY ANY STATIC, AND NO JUMPS OR STICKS

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

SOME LIGHT spider lines around the centre hole.

There are some light whisp lines, and a few little hairlines- Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..

A PROFESSIONAL HOOVER CLEAN WILL REMOVE SOME OF THE DUST AND GET THE VINYL TO EVEN HIGHER PLAY WE FEEL..Which would be amazing as it plays really really fantastic as it is!

On playing through we heard  the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves and the odd littel crackle in a few spots along the way.. all the quiet tracks were super, and nothing we felt spoiled the listening plasure at all -there is some light background in  afew places, but again..EASILY the cleanest copy we have heard..and whilst not a MINT one(impossible!!!) this is as clean as we have ever seen.

THIS IS AFTER ALL A VERY RARE RECORD..AND SO COLLECTABLE.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean. We all know how hard it is finding this sleeve in decent condition as it is so fragile and prone to wear.

THIS IS  A BEAUTY.

Remarkably asides from some light spider lines over the edges and spine this sleeve is quite amazing..

NO RING WEAR OR THAT DREADED 'WHITE RUB' OF ANY NOTE ANYWHERE!!

Yes, the feintest of ring rub but this is so light!

The edges are all super clean with a few spots/traces of rub, , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition-THE BALCK AND GOLD INKS ARE SUPERB

SOME LIGHT EDGE DINKS, AND A FEW TINY CREASES HERE AND THERE

The spine edge is unmarked with just a couple of small 'pinched spider lines' but no squash or white rub!

The open edge has some light feathering and a corner dink at either end -some very light rub where the card ends on that top seam

We cannot add any more than this! ALL THINGS CONSIDERED  FOR SUCH AN IMPOSSIBLE SLEEVE TO FIND A TALL..AND IT HAS THE STICKER...WELL. ITS A BEAUTY!

ARTWORK INNER ORIGINAL..Some very light creasing, & LIGHT EDGE DISCOLOUR  -ONE SMALL SCISSOR REPAIR, YOU CAN HARDLY SE THIS AT ALL!...A STUNNER!
