SLEEVE FRONT. EX-, nice and clean, the embossed The Beatles nice and raised, the No.0028701 indicating 1st day release is nice and clear,nice gloss,just some light yellowing,very tiny nick top edge,the inner gatefold is EX just some light yellowing,a very presentable 47 year gatefold sleeve,still rigid ,solid and flat,

SLEEVE REAR.EX-,nice gloss, a very nice compact presentable gatefold sleeve,especially for a 47 year old,has no stereo stamped on the back,that came on later issues,

SPINE.VG,100% legible,as photos,but faded,has THE BEATLES one end STEREO PCS 7067-8 MONO 706/-8,does have laminate lift in the wide spine crease,this is the only defect that lets this album down, this was a major fault with these wide spine issues,but saying that it is still rigid with no splits or other faults,

INNER SLEEVE,the two correct black inners are in EX condition,no splits just some light fraying top edges,

POSTER,EX+, no splits or pin holes,

PHOTOS, The four photos of the lads are Nr.Mint no fading or pin holes,

!! VINYL IN NORMAL LGHT !!.

SIDE 1,EX+, the audio STEREO return is superb EX+, no visible marks,

SIDE 2.EX+,one visible hairline , audio superb,EX+.

SIDE 3,EX,two fine sleeve removal lines,and some very faint hairlines,nothing feelable, audio superb,EX+,

SIDE 4,EX,as side 3, audio superb,EX+,

LABELS.**MINT** just the slightest evidence of play,

GENERAL ASSESSMENT. A truly stunning set of stereo vinyls,that have been played but really well looked after,as the Mono copies were pressed at a ratio of ten to one to the Stereo copies this must be one of the very first Stereo copies recorded,even Dear Prudence and Blackbird play through without the usual background noise, a few sleeve removal lines and the odd faint hairline,which you should come to expect from a 47 year old, !!nothing feelable whatsoever!!,this is the much rarer ***STEREO*** release ***WITHOUT THE EMI.RECORDING*** on any of the four labels, very low numbered No. 0028701,this indicates a very first day release of I think around 40,000,that were released that 1st day, you had to order the the **stereo** version through your dealer,finding a set of stereo vinyls of this iconic album in this condition is getting so difficult,this album was not really classed as a Beatles classic on its release,but when you listen to it you realise how much musical content went into it, that is why it has now become their most sought after album, a musical masterpiece,finding low numbered stereo releases as this one is,is virtually impossible these days,so much rarer and sought after than the more common mono release,**as this is a double album with with a heavy gatefold sleeve,poster and photos,postage to Europe and the R.O.T.W. may differ to those set down below,so all oversea bidders please wait for invoice before paying,**ThakYou,
