Minneaolis Area Pomp-Rock band. has only one song on you tube right now it is called shadowland.. Check it out. The band did 2 albums one self titled and the other shadowland. If you love pomp rock both of their records are a must own. If I had to give you a kind of sound like it would be Headeast for one. They are considered one of the best local pomp bands of the 80`s Both Fairchild and Shadowland records tends to be overlooked because of the lack of national exposure, although it definitely merits attention from any fan of melodic rock. Fairchild adopted a bright and breezy FM radio rock approach with pop sensibilities,with much more memorable songs as a result. Indeed guitarist Tom Riopelle puts in a lively performances throughout, but don't expect any bone crunching riffs just smooth guitar work there mainly to lend color and backbone to the songs, rather than as a dominating presence.
