The effortless blending of melody, emotion, and guitar firepower make Ogre King a hugely memorable album and one of the classics of Swedish metal. Released by Criminal Response(the same label as Saigon’s classic One Must Die album), Ogre King seemingly saw little distribution into the US which stunted its commercial success, rendering KEEN HUE a hopelessly underground act. However, this independent demeanor contributed much to the darkly beautiful mystique of Ogre King making it an essential find for all those interested in completing the never ending Euro-metal puzzle.
