Remigio Ducros incredible legendary session, this is the killer LA PALLA E' ROTONDA VRL 604 - 200gr. vinyl version so much sought-after by crate diggers and sample hunters for the incredible Breaks contained. Originally composed for some obscure Italian TV soccer programme, this album reaches the rank of most-wanted Italian Library LPs also for his rarity. Monster Breakbeat groovers many of them featured on compilations; dark Avant-garde/Experimental sounds, Jazz-Funk killing rhythms, Tribal/Exotic super-infectious percussions and grooves, almost certain the presence of Daniela Casa on Synthesizer/effects. Surely among the top 5 records of the genre together with legendary ACCADE A, TEMPO DI NAJA, LO SPORT, AMERICA AMORE AMARO and AMERICA GIOVANE volumes.



Complete album that features much Experimental sounds on the first side. "TIFO E ALLEGRIA" starting track is whistling Beat theme, nice 5-minutes of dark tense atmospheres on the following "SCONFITTE BRUCIANTI". Lovely sweet Scat vocals and restful sound on "VOGLIA DI GIOCO" with same Daniela Casa vocals! Recalling SOCIETA' MALATA sounds on "CALCIO AL RALENTI" hypnotic Synthesizers/Electronic keyboards theme, just dope. Deep threatening themes on closing "CALCIO COME CONTESTAZIONE" and "CALCIO COME VIOLENZA". Side B is a complete masterpiece: killing opening "UNA PARTITA AGITATA", superb dark drum Breaks with great Ducros' Piano Fender notes and heavy bass, ripping and pressing theme. "LA RIMONTA" is my fave bomb here, just MENTAL Jazz-Funk Breaks with amazing super-captivating oddtempo groove, totally killer! "MAGIA DEL CALCIO" obscure vocals comes first another Spaced-out Avant-garde version of LE SCONFITTE BRUCIANTI. "CONTROPIEDE" comped on SUONO LIBERO vol.2 and FUNK CINEMATIQUE is stunning Psychedelic Tribal jam with heavy percussions & mad rhythms, Fender Rhodes, Psychedelic guitar and heavy bassline as for the entire album. The 2 closing themes are legendary bombs "PRESSING" and "SGAMBETTO" comped on Funk Cinematique. 'Pressing' features insane infectious Samba groove with enchanting and overpowering non-stop percussions to die for. "SGAMBETTO" is the most famous shot on here with mental drum-bass rhythm providing the best Breaks from Italy. A TOTALLY KILLER LP, this is not to be missed!
