Artist : The Smiths
Title : Shoplifters Of The World Unite
Format : 12" Vinyl Single
Rough Trade Records (RTT 195) 1986 UK pressing with pink inner sleeve.
Vinyl visually inspected under strong light shows no serious problems at all. Vinyl is very clean and very shiny. No scratches, but there are several surface marks on both sides which indicate the record has been played a few times. These surface marks will not affect playback, however, and they can only really be seen when held up to strong light. The record is in very, very good condition.
Outer sleeve also in very good condition. A couple of creases along the spine (but nothing very noticeable) and a couple of corners showing light wear too. Other than that, everything looks really good except for an area of wear along the top edge of the sleeve (see pic above...which actually makes it look worse than it is) and just some general "rubbing" along the top edge too. All in all though, for a record that is now 30 years old, this one has been well looked after.
Inner sleeve is a thin card Rough Trade issue, in dark pink (fuchsia ?) with the catalogue number in the top right corner. In excellent condition.
To sum up, then....great condition vinyl, with no scratches but some surface marks that won't affect playback. Great condition outer sleeve with just some wear along the top edge, and excellent condition inner sleeve.
Smiths fans....you can't go wrong with this one.....
