Vinyl visually inspected under strong light shown no problems at all. Vinyl is very clean and very shiny. No scratches, and only the very lightest of surface marks that can only be seen if you hold the record up to strong light. This LP has obviously only been played a couple of times, and is in lovely condition throughout.

Outer sleeve in very good to excellent condition. Gatefold cover. Edge wear along top is pretty much non-existent. Edge wear along bottom is also pretty much non-existent except for one area which has a scuff. I've taken a photo of this area above. It's nothing serious, in my opinion, and probably just the result of storage wear over the years. Couple of creases on the spine, but these are light. No corner wear. Looks excellent. Inside the gatefold also excellent condition....looks almost new.

However, inside the sleeve itself, where the inner sleeve and vinyl go, there is quite a bit of "foxing" that has occurred over the years. Brown spots that develop on old card or paper while being stored. I've taken a photo of this which can be seen above. Mostly just on the opening edge, on the inside of the cover. This might clean up if you know how to restore "foxing" areas, but otherwise, it's stuck there. Doesn't really detract from what is otherwise a brilliant, almost new looking condition sleeve.

Inner sleeve is just plain white paper...and in fine condition (no foxing to be found on here)

To sum up, then....lovely condition, hardly played vinyl. Excellent condition outer gatefold sleeve with one scuff along the bottom edge, and some "foxing" present in the opening of the cover.

A fantastic copy of this highly collectable debut album from Verve, back before they didn't have to put a "The" on the start of their name.
