All records are graded to
the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as
required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record
you will receive if successful.
This
record is in excellent condition. It has light spindle marks
visible on the labels but these are very faint and are actually pretty hard to see in normal light. There are no scuffs or
fading anywhere and the
centres are not loose but there is a pen mark on side 2. Overall the labels, which are the rarer 'black Liberty' ones are in good shape with just very light spindle marks and small pen mark to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything serious, have a lovely gloss and only one 'stand out scratch'. This is light, is nowhere near serious enough to be felt, but can be seen in normal light. It is on side 1 and around 2.5" in length. It is thin, very light and only a surface mark but stands out when viewing the record as the whole of the side is so clean otherwise. Side 2 has little to nothing visible in normal light and overall despite the light line on side 1 the record is still a strong EX visually. There are some extremely minor wispy lines visible under very bright white light but not loads and again nothing sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs or blemishes and has a lovely vivid shine.
I play tested the
record and it plays really well. It lays flat, there is little to no
movement in the record arm and the sound produced is excellent
throughout. Its
crisp, defined and very clear overall with little interference
audible. There is the most minimal amount in the run in and between
songs but the vast majority is
surface noise free. The line on side 1 mentioned above has no affect and there are no skips, sticks or loud disruptive clicks. I noted a couple of minor sporadic pops and the odd minor hint of static but overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test and played really well.
The
front laminated sleeve is
in very good condition. It has some minor wear to the edges and
corners(pics), but there are no splits or weak areas anywhere and
overall
the sleeve is solid enough. The writing along the spine is still legible and it has no tears or scuffs anywhere. There is however some age related grubbiness to the rear and also a pen mark in the bottom right corner. The front also has some laminate creasing but nothing horrific and overall the sleeve is strong and tidy enough, but for the grubbiness to the rear. I have tried
to capture the sleeves issues as best I can in the pictures provided so
please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It
includes its original plain white poly-lined inner which has no splits or tears but does have considerable discolouring and grubbiness. I will therefore send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my Ebay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
