MC5 ~ Kick Out the Jams ~ Uncensored Tan Original w/Liner Notes ~ Monarch

MC5 ~ Kick Out the Jams

Elektra EKS-74042

Notes: Original uncensored tan label pressed at the Monarch plant (Monarch stamp in dead wax). With Sinclair liner notes. Beat up, but very hard to find.

Vinyl: G+ (Many, many hairline scratches and a couple of deeper scratches that cause clicking and popping, but I didn’t hear any skips. Plays with very noticeable surface noise throughout. Listenable, but not great.)

Sleeve: G+ (Heavy wear on all corners and edges. Top edge looks like it is completely split and held together with clear tape. 2 inch split on bottom edge. Wear on outer spine and inside of gatefold along spine. Please see photos.)

Inner Sleeve: Generic white.

I will combine shipping if you purchase multiple records!

Combined Shipping: $.50 for each addition LP. Please only pay AFTER you have added all desired items to your cart. The combined shipping discount will then be added automatically.

I ship all records in protective sleeves with the record removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits during shipping unless sealed. All records come from my personal collection in a smoke free house.

All used records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine prior to shipping.

Please pay promptly. Because of an increasing number of buyers waiting a week or more to pay, I have enabled the Unpaid Item Assistant on my account. It will automatically open an unpaid item case for any payment not received within four (4) days of a sale. Thanks!

All prices are firm. I am not interested in negotiating a lower price, so please don’t ask. I will not respond to any inquiries looking for a lower price.

Sorry, no international shipping.

A note on grading: I’m not a pro or a record store owner, but I have been collecting for a long time and I know what’s good and what’s not. I’ve been burned buying records on Ebay before and I know it’s not fun, so I try to grade as conservatively as possible so that you will be more than satisfied with what you receive. If you’re not, just let me know and we’ll work something out.

M/NM: I only use these grades for new or sealed records that have never been played.

Ex: The highest grade I will give a used record. Probably what most other people would consider NM. I usually don’t give this grade unless I’m the original owner and I know how the record has been handled, played and stored since it was purchased new.

VG+: May have some light scuffing and sometimes a couple of hairline scratches that don’t affect play. May play with minor surface noise. I try to note any defects in the description.

VG: May have some more intense scuffing and more than a few hairline scratches. Still shouldn’t skip. Probably plays with surface noise that is noticeable but doesn’t ruin the listening experience. I try to note any defects in the description.

Good/Fair/Poor: I won’t sell anything with these grades unless they have high collectable value.

All records are visually graded only unless otherwise specified!!!
