Aladdin Sane was the follow up to the phenomenal Ziggy Stardust album and was originally released in April '73, it was his first album to reach number 1. The original record was on the RCA VICTOR label and carries the singles "Time/The Prettiest Star" and "Let's Spend the Night Together/Lady Grinning Soul". Aladdin Sane is fondly remembered for introducing the character Jean Genie, it also saw his continued collaboration with Mick Ronson. This copy retains its original lyric sheet.
The world was shocked and saddened earlier this year with the death of the mercurial David Bowie, one of the greatest artists of his time. Words cannot properly describe him, so listening to the music he left behind is the best; most fitting tribute.
