   For sale is The Sound Of Glenn Miller, originally released in 1956 by RCA Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-S/2-S, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this first edition. These pressings are sought after for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of a little ring wear and minor color loss. The spine is Near Mint. The Vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of some slight sleeve marks, but play graded as Near Mint. This is the best copy of this very rare album that I have ever seen or heard. It looks like it was just released yesterday. You would be hard pressed to find another one in any condition, given the fact that this record is 60 years old!
