Nana Love’s 1978 lp ‘Disco documentary’ was one of the most interesting Afro disco reissues of late. Less known is that Ghana’s disco queen (or the ‘female James Brown’ as the text on the back sleeve calls her) recorded another album in the 1980s under the name of Angel Love!
Contains the raw space synth driven funky disco killer ‘Odo me ne wo do yi’ with its p-funk aesthetic and more highlife crossover goodness. Rare, especially in this hardly used condition!
