For sale is The Moody Blues' Days Of Future Passed, originally released in 1967 by Deram Records, a product of London Records, then reissued again in 1969 by Deram Records, a division of Decca Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "11-6-69" followed by "Bestway", indicating that this reissue was mastered on Nov 6th of 1969 (perhaps at Bell Sound Studios, N.Y.C.), then pressed at Bestway Products Inc. of Mountainside, New Jersey. There was another faint stamping which could be "Bell Sound", according to other pressings on Discogs.com. This would mean that it was mastered at Bell Sound Studios in N.Y.C. These are all hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used and immediately put this album, like all my records, into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG+ because of some corner blunts, ring wear and edge rubs. The spine has color loss at each corner and a small tear at one corner forming from stress cracks. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of faint sleeve marks and one surface scratch. I'm play grading it as VG+ because of an occasional pop and ticking, along with low level surface noise, that is most noticeable in the quiet sections of playback. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more British Invasion albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
