information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above
are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This
record is in excellent condition. It has faint
spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks or scuffs anywhere. There is some light staining to both sides however, but this is pretty minor and not too noticeable. Overall the labels are still bright and free of any major issues.
As for
the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall and have nothing serious
showing in normal
light. There is the occasional very thin, light wispy line but nothing at all sinister. It also has superficial 'mottling' on side 1(caused by a poly-lined inner), but this is faint and only visible in normal light when tilted. These minor signs of use do show under bright
light with a few more, but there is again nothing sinister. So overall a used record
which is in good shape and has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or
blemishes but has the light superficial mottling as mentioned.
I play
tested the record and it played very well overall and produced very
enjoyable audio. It lays flat, there is
little to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is free
of any major issues. There is no
distortion
caused by
excessive use and no
skips, sticks or annoying clicks. There is a touch of minor surface
noise in the run in/out and between
tracks but on the whole it is clear, crisp and of good quality. Overall
it was a very enjoyable play test
and produced audio of good quality which was free of any major interference.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has some age related rubbing/wear to the edges and corners, but the writing along the spine is still all legible. The worst of the rubbing is on the bottom and top edges but there are no splits or weak areas anywhere. There are no tears or pen marks on the sleeve but there is a couple of small scuffs on the rear near the top left corner. There is also some mild age related creasing, fading and general wear to both sides, but nothing to a drastic level. Overall a solid sleeve with no really major issues which is pretty decent for 46 years old. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It
includes a plain white inner which is in very good+
condition.
This has no tears, splits or pen marks but does have some creasing and mild age related grubbiness.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
