PLEASE NOTE: I pack my records very well. Record mailer along with 2-5 pieces of foam board (depending on single record or gatefold). If it's a gatefold I try and place a 12x12 inch piece of foam board in between the inside gate so the spine doesn't get crushed when sandwiching everything into the mailer. Same practice is done to a double vinyl if it comes in a single jacket. Vinyl is removed from the sleeves and jackets and placed in a plain white sleeve (unless already coming in a white sleeve when originally purchased). Vinyls are then placed into clear poly-sleeves. The jacket is also placed in a clear poly-sleeve. It might seem a little excessive, but better safe than sorry. In other words, I pack records like I would like to receive them.
If record is still sealed, foam board will still be used to keep record snug in mailer.
