PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.



One of the top ten rarest Zappa LPs out there, an original US Discreet DS 2175 Santa Maria Apostrophe test pressing from 1974.  Run-outs are exactly the same as my stock copy (1A/1A).  Same handwriting, spacing and everything.  There isn't a bootlegger alive that could duplicate that precisely.  This is the real deal.  Same deep groove as my stock copy as well.  LP side A is VG/VG- with a tiny scuff near the end of Father O'blivion that can be felt and 2 or 3 others that can just barely be felt.  Side B is VG with one small (around three quarters of an inch) scratch near the end that can be felt and one other in the middle of Apostrophe that can be lightly felt.  Cover is a generic white sleeve with a split on the left side.  The last Apostrophe test pressing to surface was three years ago so don't sleep.  It will most likely be longer before you see another one.



I USE GOLDMINE GRADING:   MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
