Andrew Loog Oldham was the manager and producer of The Rolling Stones from 1963-1967. He also created The Andrew Oldham Orchestra and in 1965 the Rolling Stones as well as London session players (including Steve Marriott on harmonica) recorded instrumentals of their biggest hits of the day. Their version of "The Last Time" is the now the infamous sample used by The Verve on "Bitter Sweet Symphony". Other selections include "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Time Is On My Side", "As Tears Go By" + more.

For this release we were able to use the original analog master tapes for the ultimate listening experience. Kevin Gray cut the lacquers and they were plated by Dorin Sauerbier at Record Technology the very next morning. The "see through" clear 180g vinyl just sparkles with sound thanks to the dead quiet R.T.I. pressing.

Greg Allen at Omnivore Creative did a spectacular job recreating the artwork from a "stone mint" original jacket, all the way down to the LONDON STEREOPHONIC labels. Of course the jacket is a Stoughton "Old Style" Tip On to give this reissue the exact look, feel and smell as a $100 US first pressing. Limited and a bargain at $23.00
