This is an original pressing of "Bossa Nova Soul Samba" by Ike Quebec, released in 1962 by Blue Note Records. This is the stereo version (ST-84114), with New York, USA on the labels, and "Van Gelder" and an ear stamped in the dead wax on both sides. The vinyl has lots of small scuffs and scratches that cause low-key background noise throughout, the more noticeable because the music itself is rather sedate. There's a heavier, though short, scratch on side 2 that causes louder pops. Quebec's sax sounds muffled sometimes, probably due to vinyl wear. We'll be conservative and grade the vinyl G+. The VG cover has edge wear and the start of a seam split at the top right corner, a sticker with a name at back top, some rubbing. The original inner sleeve is included (with a seam split at the bottom). In (much) better condition this album has sold for over $1,000! This copy might serve as an adequate filler in your collection until a better one shows up.
