It took eight years to record Wagner's 'Ring' for the first time, a mammoth project, moving through crisis and chaos to triumph. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti and such great singers as Birgit Nilsson, Regine Crespin, Kirsten Flagstad, Joan Sutherland, and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau were involved in the project. Only one record of this boxed set has ever been our of its original sleeve. This set is rare and collectible.
