Promotional only soundtrack to the second in a series of French film comedies about African migrants' lives in Paris; the movies haven't stood the test of time but the music on this LP is definitely worth checking out again. The lead track 'Shango' features Youssou N'dour over a slick afrobeat-styles synth groove, but the highlight may be the modern soul instrumental 'Aida'. And there's a few more interesting tracks and interludes - even some swingbeat, because it was 1988 after all. Rare release that was only ever handed out as a (very limited) free promo for the movie!
