SHIPPING DOMESTIC $ 6 PLUS $ 3 EACH ADDITIONAL FIRST OVERSEAS $ 16 Despite a lengthy tour with Motorhead Weapon’s real first shot at glory kinda misfires half of the time with this tale of two; a forgivable mishap as the b-side is a helluva lot more on the ball than the title cut is off of it, and for the year, “Set the Stage Alight” burns rubber almost off the map. “It’s a Mad Mad World” is a mid-paced rocker, benign even, as it goes through the motions with corporate mechanics and a chorus to match, naturally leading to the belief that the back-up song will be just as basic and futile if not more. Low and behold, “Set the Stage Alight” is that ‘stop and listen’ moment – catchy, fast in the guitars, the chorus vocally-backed and center stage, vocals executed rightly with the rushing rhythmic gait, the whole thing vital and fully roadworthy – that you just didn’t hear all too often at this time. A cool, vibrant song from all angles that should have way more customers.
