Here's your chance to acquire a fine-playing and good looking Bud Powell album from the second mono issue with an unknown date somewhere between 1961 and 1966. This is a really great album with a nice mix of tunes -- slow quiet ones like Yesterdays, April in Paris, and Body and Soul, along with upbeat bop standards like Tempus Fugue-It and Cherokee.
Bud Powell had two other stellar bop musicians on the stage: Ray Brown on bass and Max Roach on drums.
The amazing, haunting cover art is by David Stone Martin, who has been called the greatest album cover artist of all time.
