All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive.
This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks lightly visible on both the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading. There is no serious wear around the centre holes and these are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape with no serious issues but with the spindle marks to each side as mentioned.
As
for the vinyl itself, both sides have signs of age, handling and use. There is wispy lines, sleeve marks, scuffs and general signs of handling. There is also a few other more pronounced scratches showing. The majority of these are light and cannot be felt but there is a 1cm mark at the very start of side 1 that can be felt lightly. Overall the vinyl is not perfect and signs of use, age and handling to both sides. It still has a nice enough lustre however and is also not completely covered in major marks or nasty scratches.
I play tested the record and it played with some interference but was also still an enjoyable listen. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no arm movement noticeable.
The audio produced has no skips or sticks but does have some tics at the very beginning. These are caused by the small scratch mentioned above. They start in the run in and continue through most of the mellow intro, just until the song 'drops'. They can clearly be heard due to the mellow nature of the intro but luckily they pass fairly quickly and once the album gets going. Other than these there are no other prolonged issues with tics but there is some surface noise in the quieter parts, between tracks and run ins/out. There is also occasional splutters and noises throughout each side. Any audio with any volume to it plays well enough but there is some spluttering and noises in the much quieter parts. Overall the vinyl can still be enjoyed but is not perfect, with the tics in the intro and general splutters/surface noise to each side.
The textured gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It has obvious rubbing and wear to all the edges and corners but the text along the spine is still legible. Despite the quite heavy wear to the edges the sleeve is still solid and has no splits or excessively weak areas. There are also no tears, scuffs or pen marks. There is however some grubby marks to the front and also age related fading to both the front and rear. The rear also has a partial ring mark showing. The inside has its colour booklet attached and just minor wear to the staples. The booklet has light signs of handling but no serious issues such as tears. Overall a sleeve that is solid with no major faults but has signs of its age and handling as outlined. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains a brand new plain white replacement inner as the original has creasing, discolouring, splits and is generally very tatty.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
