I grade by Goldmine standards, and am pretty conservative.
SS/Mint: still sealed, no damage to cover
NM: vinyl visually flawless, either never played or played once, no cover damage
VG+/VG++: a couple light scuffs or scratches that don’t affect playback, minor cover wear
VG: light scratches, some surface noise, heavier cover wear and/or stickers on cover
