MOTT "THE HOOPLE". LP. 1974 CBS 69062 original including lyric inner sleeve.
Record is in amazing condition, I cannot see a flaw. I have had this for many years and very rarely played it, and this clearly was the case with the original owner, a true archive copy. I have to grade the vinyl EXCELLENT+ condition it's that clean.
The sleeve has also clearly been very well looked after. Only flaws I can see is some creasing in the form of ringwear at the bottom centre at the rear of the sleeve and some price sticker residue top right front, both shown in the pictures. As you can see, the spine is solid and all print is perfectly clear and eligible. Sleeve graded VERY GOOD+ condition.
The lyric inner is in fantastic condition and graded EXCELLENT+ condition
So to sum up, all in all a great opportunity to buy a great copy of one of the best and influential albums of the 70's.
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT :The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint.
EXCELLENT :The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD :The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
