are of the exact record you will receive if purchased.
This
record is in excellent- condition. It has some very faint spindle marks
visible on each label(which have no Atlantic logo and the Syperhype credits associated with the UK 1st press) but there are no pen marks, stains or fading. There is however some minor 'bubbles' or raised areas and scuffs to the edge of the label on side 1(see pics). These are not really extreme but are noticeable and of course not ideal.
As for
the vinyl itself, both sides have a nice lustre and have nothing really serious, deep or obvious showing. There is signs of use to each side though with light general handling marks and some wispy lines showing when it is angled. These are all very light and of course cannot be felt but they do shoe faintly in places when angled and under bright light. Overall a used vintage lp with some light signs of this but also one that has no nasty or serious marks/scratches.
I
play
tested the record and it played well throghout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is
little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced
is excellent with no
distortion
caused by
excessive use and no
skips, sticks or annoying clicks. There was no major levels of surface noise on either side but there was a little in the run ins, and a touch in parts of track 2 on side 1. There was also a touch audible in the quieter parts of track 3 on side 2. These parts were certainly not noisy to any degree but there was a light amount of surface noise audible in these quieter areas. Overall it was a nice tidy listen though with no major issues and no surface noise that was loud or disruptive.
Its contains its original textured inner which is in excellent condition with no splits, tears or pen marks. It has light signs of age with some mild ring marks and minor creasing but no serious issues. The record will of course be sent in a brand new plain white replacement inner to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
