Beatles For Sale Orig. Parlophone Black And Yellow STEREO LP, PCS 3062.
A lovely copy of an original early Beatles stereo album.
I have just replayed the record and can report it plays through superbly with no skips or sticks with just a hint of background static in the quieter moments.
The record surfaces have a brilliant sheen to them, there are a couple of small marks on side 2 which are non feelable and unheard in playback, being critical here. The is a little bag rash visible in bright sunlight.
The Matrix no's.are:
YEX 142-1 and YEX 143-1
The Stampers are:
R4 and RA5, a quite early Pressing.
The labels are excellent with some spider trails visible when turned to the light.
The inner sleeve is the correct Emitex rice paper version of the time with some clear tape to the edges.
The sleeve is surprisingly excellent, this sleeve is notorious for getting damaged. The front panel has the outline stereo designation and has no creases, there is a little laminate lift near the spine. The rear panel has the tiniest laminate crease towards the bottom and there is a little laminate lift near ringo. The spine is fully readable with no creases. Inside the gatefold is surprisingly good too with a little stress to the flaps and fold. Sadly there is some writing by George which is fairly light.
Overall a very nice original stereo that has very few things against it and has been well looked after.
Please see the pics as they form part of the description.
