This unique clock is handmade from the original 1988 vinyl record; The Story Of The Clash, released on CBS Records.
Uniquely designed, I cut out the middle 10.5cm (4.3 inches) of the record, leaving the label and an outer ring of the vinyl, which becomes the clock face. Featuring a picture of Joe Strummer I then make the record sleeve into a presentation box (10.8cm x 10.8cm x 3.3cm), maximising the iconic imagery of the sleeve. CBS put a lot into the quality of the album; really nicely designed labels and sleeve cover, and the cover (so subsequently the clock presentation box) is a really high quality matt cardboard.
The clock can be taken out of the box and hung on a wall, or can be displayed in the box on any flat surface.
THIS IS NO LONGER THE FULL 12" RECORD. MOST OF THE VINYL HAS BEEN CUT OFF. Quality quartz mechanism - German UTS. Bespoke metal hands (silver on this one). Comes in a bespoke plastic box (see final picture) Takes a single AA battery (not supplied due to postal restrictions) Discreet size (no longer a full size LP)
I have been making clocks and coasters since 1999.  I have been featured on BBC Radio, daytime ITV, Sunday Mirror Style Magazine, Record Collector, been exhibited at The Ideal Home Show.
Find me selling live at Manchester Christmas market during November and December.
Alice Cooper has one of my clocks (an Alice Cooper one), as has Duane Eddy, Richard Hawley, John Cooper Clarke, and Brian Molko. Customers also include Edwin Starr, Henry Rollins, Johnny Marr, Roots, Jack Dee, McFly, Goodbye Charlotte, and Dweezil Zappa's band.
