3 LPs, box, and cue sheet in used condition. The records themselves look great -- see pics. They haven't been played since broadcast. The box has sustained some fairly significant water damage on its left side -- again, see the photos. "TOM PETTY" is handwritten in magic marker on the top left corner. The cue sheet has much more minor water damage on its left side, and each of the six segments is crossed out in marker, though this doesn't impair their legibility.
You are bidding on a rare 3 LP set from Westwood One Radio Networks -- the Superstar Concert Series with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, show SS85-20 slated for broadcast the weekend of August 31, 1985. These tracks are culled from two shows Petty played at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, on August 6th and 7th of 1985, plus another couple of tracks ("Change of Heart" and "Make It Better (Forget About Me)") sourced from a different show on that tour.
This concert contains the following songs (in set list order): American Girl It Ain't Nothin' To Me Don't Do Me Like That The Waiting You Got Lucky I Need To Know Change Of Heart Don't Come Around Here No More Southern Accents Rebels Make It Better (Forget About Me) Breakdown Refugee Also included are Petty's song intros from the stage, national ads for Coke and Sprite, and a promo for the show (the final cut on side 6.) The cue sheet lists out the cuts, the segment times, and the incues and outcues. The box also includes an affadavit of performance form stamped "TOM PETTY & THE HEART BREAKERS".
