★Very early 2nd pressing (So hard to find)!!

Matrix / Runout (Side A runout stamped): XEX 605-2 (after no branch cords)

Matrix / Runout (Side B runout stamped): XEX 606-2 (after no branch cords)

・ Yellow Black Parophone.

・ Modified “DR.ROBERT “,printed on label and sleeve , both have high rarity!

・”Tomorrow Never Knows” was used the recording tape so called “Final Mix 8”. ”Mix 11” was used only “Withdrawn mix “(1st pressing).

・ Number of metal mother (based on the stamped matrix, it’s at the 3 o'clock position on both sides when compared to a clock) ;both”2”, prove so early pressing.

・ Stamped code (9 o’clock position); H(7th) / P(6th)!! only 1 letter not 2 or 3 ! If you look at the alphabet "GRAMOPHLTD " (gramophone Ltd ) starting with "G", "H" is in the 7th place and "P" is in the 6th. In other words, the alphabet makes it easy to understand what number stamper the parlophone used.

◆ Please refer to the following◆

▼ At the "6 O'clock" position on the inner groove area is the matrix number with a -1 or -2 etc.For instance, Beatles For Sale in stereo is YEX 142-1 (etc.). The "1" means the FIRST LACQUER cut from the master. -2 the second etc.

▼ At the "9 O'clock" is a number which tell you what "mother" was used to generate the stamper actually used the press the record. A number of "mothers" are generated from the lacquer. Obviously a "1" means first mother generated from the lacquer. A "5" means it was much later--the fifth mother generated from the lacquer.

▼ At the "3 O'clock" position there will be one to three letters, which are codes associated with numbers as follows, which tell you what stamper was used to press the actual record:

G R A M O P H L T D (=Each letter is linked to a number)

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0

▼ Therefore, if the letters say "GR" that is stamper 12. "O" is stamper 5 etc.

⚫︎ YEX 142-1, mother 1, stamper G is the very first pressing of "Beatles For Sale" in stereo: first lacquer, first mother, first stamper.

⚫︎ YEX 142-1, mother 4, stamper RLT.

That would be first lacquer, 4th mother and 289th. stamper generated from that mother.

・ Rim’s copy (Outermost of both labels); okay.no problem. ”THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD.〜”

◆ Please refer to the following◆

⚫︎ The outer rim statement on the label, which always said "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." from 1963 to June 1965, but the name was replaced "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." from July in 1965.

・ Tax code(Around spindle hole embossed initials) :KT , as same as 1st pressing.

◆ Please refer to the following◆

⚫︎ NT;1954 / NI;1955 / RT; Summer 1955 / XT; Summer 1957 / ET; summer 1959 / WT; 1st. August 1960 / OT; 26th July 1961 / ZT; 10th April 1962 / PT; 26th November 1963 / MT; 1st January 1963 / KT; 1st. July 1963 maybe until at least 1972 / JT; 1968

・ Central Remarks ; Both sides. “SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS ,SEE PRICE LISTS” is printed above a spindle hole. In summer of 1969, the "SOLD IN U.K." statement was removed on the label.

・ No “MONO” credited on both labels. After 4th pressing copy was credited. Early stereo copy must printed “STEREO “.

・(P)1966, If not, that’s a fake copy.Correctly, “P” is surrounded by a circle. Unfortunately my PC can’t make that.

・3”Flipback”

・ Large “MONO” on sleeve , As “Revolver (PMC7009)”, specified so rare version.

・ Rights Society: NCB

・ Printed By – Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd , not normal print “Garrod & Lofthouse”. proves early rare version sleeve.

・ Published By – Northern Songs Ltd.

⚫︎ If you squint, can find 2 hairlines on the vinyl of side-A and a hairline on side-B,apparently. Spindle mark side-B only. Some surface noises was masked by Powerful sound pressure level monaural original “Revolver “ have. No scratches , no clack,no skip, no warp , no cloudy, no stain at all. Hairlines on both runouts. In any cases, not brings serious damages at all, doesn’t affect sound quality little bit more.

⚫︎ Inner sleeve is used ‘EMITEX’.(maybe not original inner one, for original 2nd pressing should be plain). In addition, it's been a long time since this copy was released, Cue-times was handwritten by blue ink on “11MAR 1984” above left side.

⚫︎ The sleeve is a laminated front cover with flipbacks at the rear. Most initial 1st pressing copies were made by E.J.Day & Co. Ltd. but not all from my experience the odd copy arises made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. There are subtle difference between these 2 variations of the sleeve . The E.J.Day sleeve tends to have slightly larger flip backs and more rounded at the spine. My personal preference is the E.J.Day sleeve . Over the period that these were produced, there were more Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves made and in circulation so The E.J.Day sleeves with “Revolver (PMC 7009) seem to demand a sightly higher price on the open market place.

⚫︎Creases upper right on the sleeve. Wrinkles left side of the sleeve. A little corner bump trace leave on lower left on the back of the sleeve .No seam splits,no tear,no water damage, no stain, no discoloration & fade and no writing at all.Other no defects.Nice shape copy.

⚫︎ Spine is so thick and printed clear “Revolver—The Beatles “.

※ The Item will arrive in other countries except the US as usual by EMS (Express Mail Service), for example in the U.K. in about a week.

■ Attention ! ■

Shipping to the U.S. will be very late because of the ‘emergency situation’. Japan Post has suspended air flights for the time being. Air Mail deliveries almost is closed still now. Only “Small Packet” (handling of Japan Post) is available, but there’s no compensation. However, if use that, it’ll arrive in the US in about 10 days. FedEx and other delivery companies will increase their flight prices by about $95.00USD. Economy class is no longer available. That's ridiculous.

All the US buyers maybe say ”I’m done “. Me too. I’m fed up. Fuck it!! Exactly.

However, that’s the reality too.

Please note the current situation.
