This week, I’m parting with some great albums from my collection that just don’t fit my focus any longer. Bid with confidence, I am a record collector as well as a comic book collector - I take pride in accurate grading and caring for my items, and you can rest assured they will be packed for safe transit (that includes removing the record from its sleeve). Please have a look at all the items I have up, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years.
THE DOORS Debut Album 1967 US Elektra GOLD label VERY RARE Mono 1ST PRESS / Allentown Press with original Elektra inner sleeve.
First Allentown pressing, denoted by "(A)" in runouts. Gold (not tan) Elektra labels. Features "(Weill-Brecht, Witmark ASCAP)" publishing credit on Side One label below Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar). EKL-4007 on both labels and runouts, which is Elektra catalog number for mono pressing.
Sleeve: GD Numerous defects, rubbing, paper tear on back cover, etc. Seam split on spine, but top and bottom just have edgewear. Please see photos for specifics.
Vinyl: VG Lots of surface marks - so many that I listened to the entire album before listing it to make sure there are no skips. Plenty of crackles and pops, but no skips or jumps. Plays fine, no warp. Matrix / Runout (Variation 1, Runout Side A, etched): EKL 4007A (A) Matrix / Runout (Variation 1, Runout Side B, etched): EKL 4007B (A)
Comes with original gold Elektra inner paper sleeve.
This is NOT a modern reissue - NOT a bootleg, this is the  REAL DEAL! A VERY RARE and highly sought after LP! As always, see the high resolution pics for all the details. A difficult release to find these days as a complete copy, so bid with confidence, and bid accordingly.
