   For sale is a vinyl record by Various Artists titled "Disney's Merry Christmas Carols", originally released in 1980 by Disneyland Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "KMPRC", indicating that this record was mastered at KM Records of Burbank, California before it was made at PRC Recording Company's pressing plant. located in Richmond, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. According to the liner notes, Molly Ringwald in the main soloist on "The First Noel".  I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Excellent because of some very minor corner blunts, small stress cracks on the top seam and some more stress cracks along the spine. The Vinyl is visually graded as Excellent, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, but with several superficial sleeve marks. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of an occasional "tic" and super low level surface noise. This is still one of the best copies of this very rare album that I have ever seen, and you would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition, especially a PRC pressing.
