Questions?
_____
Why Am I Selling This?
After 35 years of collecting and 15 years of DJing, I decided that these items should be released back into the wild so they can be enjoyed by others. They have been my friends for years and I want to introduce them to others. They aren't doing anyone any good hidden away in storage. I remember finding those awesome rare treats and want to help others experience that too.
Although I would love to make back some of what I invested, I am not in this purely for profit. I really do want to get these discs out into the world where they'll be enjoyed by others.
_____
Why Did I Stop Collecting?
I didn't. I still get five to ten albums a month. I probably won't ever really stop.

What's up with the no returns thing?
Please be sure of your bid. I can't accept returns on media. It's because of the nature of media in the 21st century. Believe it or not, some people will win an auction, rip to mp3 then try to return it, claiming it's defective. This actually does happen and by a strange series of coincidences I caught someone doing it. The returns policy is weighted in the bidders' favor, so it'd be uphill for me.
I'm absolutely sure that YOU would never do this, but it's a huge possibility and liability that I have to account for.

What's up with the condition?
A lot of my discs came from a local store here in Portland that buys all discs, regardless of condition. They then sell the imperfect discs at a steep discount. I do the same. The packaging and condition may not be mint, but all discs have been verified and guaranteed to play before they're put up for auction. Any marks or blemishes or defects will be stated clearly in the (condition) section above.
I try to be as up-front as possible, with the goal of zero negative surprises. I will list whether I purchased the item new or used as well as its condition. Photos will show flaws, if any.

What's up with the shipping?
I do not gouge on shipping costs. Ever.
I don't think shipping should never be a profit maker. I'm OK with adding a little handling in (ie a quarter or 50¢ for a shipping envelope or maybe a dollar for bus fare to get to the post office) but I really really dislike acutioneers that list an album at $5 but charge $30 to ship it to the next state over. If you want $30, just list the thing at $30. Honestly.
I've seen too many auctions where the winning bid was like $5 but shipping was $29.95 or higher. I find this very dishonest and bordering on predatory. My shipping and handling are actual costs, not a profit center. I will do everything I can to get it to you as safely and inexpensively as I can.
Any difference between listed and actual US shipping costs are absorbed by me. IE if I list a disc at $3 to ship and it turns out the packaging is heavier or outsized or whatever and ends up being $5, I pay the missing $2, not you. I won't ever try to get that extra $2. If I screw up, it's on me and not you.
I -can- ship internationally, but the shipping costs will be different. Message me to let me know you're interested and I'll get a shipping quote for you. Again, it will be actual costs and not a way to pad the auction amount.

Do you only have CDs?
Nope! I have lots of vinyl and some DVDs too. Keep checking back.
