For sale is a double vinyl record by Judy Garland titled "Judy At Carnegie Hall: Judy In Person", originally released in 1961 by Capitol Records with a gate-fold presentation, then reissued by Capitol between 1972-78, as indicated by the labels. This release has orange labels with greenish "Capitol" logos along the bottom. These labels were used between 1972-78. These two records were auto-coupled, meaning that Side One and Side Four are on Record One, while Sides Two and Three are on Record Two. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "Mastered By Capitol" along with an etching of what appears to be a tipped over "Martini" glass (This "glass" actually represents a Winchester rifle), followed by the matrix numbers G-11/H-14/H-15/H-8, indicating that this album was mastered at Capitol Studios of Hollywood, California, before early stampers were used to make this record at Capitol Records' pressing plant, located in Winchester, Virginia. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put the records into two archival inner sleeves. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeves are graded as Near Mint. The cover is graded as Near Mint with very minor corner blunts. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without sleeve marks, smudges, surface scratches, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this album as Near Mint with an occasional super low level "tic", now and then, but without any surface noise, pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. This is the best copy of this very rare album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition, especially a Winchester pressing. I have more Pop records listed in my Ebay store, as well as albums of all genres. Please take a look. They're  predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
