For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from The Beatles titled "Something b/w Come Together", originally released in 1969 by Apple Records. I bought this used and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original Apple Records factory inner sleeve is graded as Good Plus because of multiple creases with fine-line color loss, an unglued corner and some small tears at the opening and bottom seam. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched the matrix numbers F-7 #3/F-10 #1 and "IAM" inside a triangle. IAM stands for the International Association of Machinists Union, whose members worked where this record was pressed. These etching indicate that the record was made at Capitol Record's pressing plant, located in Scranton, Pennsylvania with very early stampers. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded between Very Good Plus and Excellent because of some superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. There is ink writing on both sides and Magic Marker writing on one side. Overall, a composite rating of Very Good Plus Plus. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection, especially a collector of rare Apple 45's. Please read all descriptions and look at all pictures, as this is a final sale and I do not accept returns. Thank you for viewing my listing.
I've been collecting records for more that 50 years and always clean them before and after playback to keep them in a pristine condition. I try to describe them to the best of my ability and use record grading guidelines like the Goldmine rating system as reference. Since retiring, I've begun to sell my very esoteric collection via my Ebay store (bobsanalogemporium) and will offer discounts for multiple sales. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping. Please read all descriptions carefully and note all pictures before-hand, as I do not accept returns. Please visit my Ebay store for records, 45's, cassette tapes and comics of all different genres. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you viewing my listing.
