For sale are 16 records by Stan Kenton, 6 LP's (5 releases, one is a double LP) and 10 singles. Kenton's Christmas and Artistry In Rhythm are especially nice, boderline VG+ to EX on the vinyl and certainly EX sound. A Concert In Progressive Jazz is the original Turquoise label, solid VG+ with great sound. One Night Stand With Stan Kenton Back At The Steel Peer is the rare Joyce label recording from 1951, EX vinyl and sleeve. Road Show with June Christy and The Four Freshmen is the only reason I'm grading VG on the jackets and vinyl. The jacket has a few discolorations, but still nice overall. The vinyl is VG+ visually but the 2nd half of side 2 has a fair amount of static, much of this plays EX other than that few minutes. Also includes a rare and really nice copy of Stan Kenton, "Mardi Gras" and "Blues In Riff," on the Capitol label #F888. Not sure of the year but guessing around 1950 based on catalog number, can't find another copy of this one for sale anywhere on 45rpm 7" vinyl. Other singles include Blues in Burlesque pt. 1/ pt. 2, Artistry in Rhythm / Artistry Jumps, Jolly Rogers / Evening In Pakistan, Alone Too Long / Don't Take Your Love From Me, Stardust / Beehive, Viva Prado / I'm So In The Mood, 23 N 82 W / Falling, Francesca / Night Watch, Opus In Chartreuse / Sunset Tower. The singles are a mix of VG+ and VG, but all play well with only a bit of light noise at times on some, never much, stickers on the A side of most.
