*** BID WITH CONFIDENCE: As a long-time Beatles collector, I’ve had my share of bad experiences buying vinyl on eBay - so I know the disappointment and frustration. I grade conservatively, strive to provide accurate descriptions and detailed photos, package each item VERY carefully and ship quickly - see details below. ***
Please note that I use visual grading only (unless otherwise requested), and NM is the highest grade I use.

Volume 32 of the Lost Lennon Tapes LP series on Bag Records (black vinyl - there was also a blue vinyl pressing). And as you probably know if you're collecting this set, the later volumes are much harder to find than the earlier ones.
I’m not the original owner, but I see no scratches from playing - if it was played at all, it was rarely played on a good turntable by someone who knew how to handle vinyl with care.
But unfortunately, there is a factory pressing flaw - a kind that I’ve never seen, after decades of collecting (even on a boot pressing).
Check out picture #9 (only fitting for a Lennon record) - look carefully and you’ll see what appears to be a perfect circle pressed into the vinyl (partially obscured by the label),and there’s also a (less-visible) partial larger circle surrounding it. It’s only on Track 6 of Side 1 (Cleanup Time) - whatever it is, is nowhere to be found on Side 2.
I gently ran my fingers over it (using a soft, non-abrasive vinyl cleaning cloth to protect the disc), and could feel a slight bump pressed into the vinyl. Then I put it on the turntable and played Track 6 all the way through, with the bass kicked up. There were no skips in the record, but I did hear a soft, low-pitched “thump-thump” sound with each spin of the disc. It wasn’t loud enoughto distract from the music (not as much as a scratch would). But it is there and it is audible (the Cleanup Time demo doesn’t have a lot of low-end frequency of its own) - and I believe in pointing out any/every flaw upfront.The vinyl would be a solid NM if not for this (bizarre) pressing flaw, so overall I’m grading it EX (excellent).
The cover has minor ringwear along the top, on the front and back - along with a few few small isolated spots that you really have to look close to see. There’s also a bend/crease in the upper right corner and a small “ding” on the very tip of the upper left corner. There are no seam splits, And as you see in the pic, there’s a small $11.98 price sticker (dated Sept. 1997). So it’snot a perfect cover, but still nice - overall EX (Excellent) condition.
*********************************** FAST SHIPPING: Free domestic shipping via USPS Media Mail. Sorry, but I only ship within the lower 48 states. My goal is to ship each item out the day after I receive payment, and I haven’t missed one yet.
* PACKAGING: I package every item VERY carefully, just the way I’d want to receive it:
(1) Using standard LP and 45 mailers with insert pads;
(2) Removing unsealed vinyl from its cover/sleeve to prevent seam seam splitting during transit; and
(3) Labeling the front & back of the package with a bright orange sticker (“FRAGILE - VINYL RECORD - Do Not Bend or Crush”). Please check out my feedback comments - several buyers have specifically mentioned how well their records were packaged.
Please contact me if you have any questions about this item.. Thanks for looking, and stay safe - Rick in TX
