Near Mint/Near Mint

Graded Cover/Record

I am selling off my entire Pop, Rock and Roll, Jazz and Surf record collection that I have been collecting for over 42 years. Up for bid is a sealed copy!  I bought the entire series in 2004 and so this is the original edition and still sealed and never open!  Warm analog sound!

: Moon Beams RTI Record Technology Incorporated AJAZ-9428-45 A/B/C/D Analogue Productions: Near Mint/Near Mint  Vinyl is super clean brand new and plays Near Mint played only by me once! The only flaws would be minor superficial scuffs/hairlines from taking the record out of it's inner plastic lined sleeve.   Analogue Productions pressings are known for their fantastic fidelity and the piano and bass sound AWESOME!  Generic white cover is super clean and still looks brand new with super nice gloss.  I bought this brand new and only played this once. Note there is no color album cover, only the generic white cover shown in the pics.  The last pic showing the album is for illustration purposes only.  Original plastic lined paper inner sleeves and marketing inserts are in excellent condition.  I bought the entire collection when it first came out.

"Bill Evans' recordings almost always received good to excellent sound, and the Analogue Productions reissues are no exception. While I don't own the original releases, the 45 rpm reissues clearly better, even after VTA adjustments, the later OJC reissues or the earlier 33 1/3 rpm Analogue Productions releases. The 45 rpm reissues are more musical and transparent; instruments have greater three-dimensionality and frequency extremes, especially lower octaves, exhibit greater resolution and impact. Get them before they're sold out!" Myles Astor, Positive-Feedback Online, Issue 34,

Bill Evans was left reeling by the accidental death of his brilliant bassist Scott LaFaro in mid-1961 and didn't feel ready to record with his new bassist until nearly a year later. When he did go into the studio in May and June of 1962 with Chuck Israels and drummer Paul Motian, the "second trio" produced material for two albums that were to be among Evans's most popular. Moonbeams includes ballad material from the sessions. The rest of the music from the sessions is in How My Heart Sings! In Moonbeams, Evans did some of his most introspective playing, his sense of loss apparent but relieved by Israels' power and empathy. "Polka Dots and Moonbeams," "If You Could See Me Now," and the others represent Evans at his best, his lyricism underlaid with rhythmic firmness even in the extraordinarily slow "In Love in Vain."

I am selling off my entire Pop, Rock and Roll, Jazz and Surf record collection that I have been collecting for over 42 years.  If you're a record collector and audiophile, the cover condition is not the important part.  It is the fact that the vinyl are in super clean VG+ (almost Near MINT) condition!  Warm analog sound! Note that I have conservatively graded everything.  In other words, if a record is graded VG+, it is more than likely closer to Near Mint.

Condition: I grade according to Goldmine standards. That means a VG+ vinyl will be just that, an LP that is in beautiful condtion! I am very picky when it comes to grading and grade to Goldmine standards. I absolutely hate it when dealers ameliorate the condition of the vinyl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially when I am the buyer!! All my LP's have been stored in my house upright on a shelf in an air conditioned and dry environment, meaning no warping, staining or mildew!

Shipping: Shipping in the US will be via USPS Media Mail $8 and will be mailed in a sturdy LP mailer.
