Up for auction is a rare an exceptionally clean copy of The Jimi Hendrix Experience-Axis: Bold As Love/First 1967 MONO pressing on the black Track label. This copy also comes with the original lyrics insert and an original UK Track mono pressing of the single "All Along The Watchtower" with "Long Hot Summer Night" as the B side. It just happened to be included when I purchased this years back. Both the Vinyl and Cover are a solid EX. The laminated gatefold cover has some edge and corner ware and the top corners are slightly curved upwards (PLEASE SEE PHOTOS). The inside of the gatefold and the spine are practically flawless. The original orange lyric insert is intact but wrinkled (PLEASE ZOOM IN ON PHOTO) and is VG minus bordering on VG. The vast majority of these inserts are long gone so the inclusion of an original in any condition is a rarity. Both sides of the vinyl are a solid EX with a few minor paper scuffs and inconspicuous hairlines on both sides. There is one conspicuous mark on side B across the first and part of the second track that does not affect play. Overall, the play grade for the vinyl is EX/EX+ and sounds fantastic in original true mono format. The mono single of Watchtower/Summer Night is EX.
