The Beatles - A Hard Days Night
One-box EMI 'Silver & Black' Parlophone Stereo copy, housed in triple-flipback cover. The original cover design was soon switched to a non-flipback cover around the time that Parlophone transitioned from the 'Yellow' label - making this (I believe) a sort of 'inbetween' copy which dates to around the late 60s (possibly early 70s). A really nice example of what appears to be quite a rare edition.
Laminate Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, Tri-Flipback.
The vinyl feels heavier than the later reissues on the 'silver & black' EMI label, and the sound of this press is sensational. Great dynamic range and punch to every instrument.
Cover: VG/VG+ (a few creases to the laminate, writing to the reverse and general wear to the opening, but still a very respectable copy)
Vinyl: VG/VG+ (Some wispy hairline marks in places but nothing deep/feelable. A few light scuffs on one side, but (again) nothing serious. Mostly all cosmetic only. In my opinion, this is still a solid copy)
