THE WHO My Generation BRUNSWICK LP ORIGINAL MONO 1965 UK 1ST PRESSING LAT8616
The Who is definitely a first press, it has the earliest run out inscriptions 1B and 1B, the earliest tax code on the lp (MT not KT which was on later 1st presses) and correct inflection on pressing reference on both sides. The inner is also correct with two different versions used, this is the rarer of the two and not damaged. I’ve cleaned and played it, side 1 is perfect, no audible scratches or pops. Side 2 is nearly perfect with only 1 track showing a bit of surface noise but not scratched or ticking. I’ve cleaned the covers and the front cover laminate is excellent and the picture nice and bright. No idea what the brown mark is on the back which is a shame.
