PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE Australian pressing on the orange Parlophone label from 197? with STEREO text above the boxed logo at the top, original poly-lined inner sleeve stamped in the left hand corner at the bottom, laminated front cover with the thread on John's jacket airbrushed out and YEX 178-3 / YEX 179-3 the complete respective matrices on sides 1 and 2!!! I have been collecting for 40+ years and never seen this variant before. There isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. Supremely rare. LP side 1 is VG with some light scuffs and side 2 is VG+/VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs. Cover is a nice VG with a small 1" split at the bottom middle.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
