One of the stand out and iconic bands of the 1970's glam rock scene, T-Rex, fronted by the charismatic Marc Bolan, had success comparable to The Beatles with a run of eleven records in the Top Ten of the UK Singles Charts.
The follow-up album to the best selling "Electric Warrior", "The Slider" was released in 1972 and included some of T-Rex's most recognisable tracks. "Telegram Sam" was the band's third Number One UK single and was followed by "Metal Guru" which again reached the top of the charts.
This 2020 re-issue has been re-mastered by Tony Visconti and Ted Jensen and is pressed on heavyweight 180 gram clear vinyl.
