WILDLY RARE original Brian Gardner mastered Allied first pressing from 1987 on Sire with glossy full color printed inner sleeve and embossed cover!!!  LP is a beautiful VG++/NM.  Cover is VG+ with a small pen mark on the front.  Auction also includes an ULTRA RARE original rigid two-sided in-store promotional display put out by Sire in 1987 with promotional text at the bottom and album cover art on the rear!!!  I bought this from a former Tower Records manager here in Chicago who was a big Depeche fan and decided to rescue this from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive.  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s.  This is the kind of rarity Depeche fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep.  Display has a small blemish in the top right hand corner on the album art side and has NO staple holes, tape residue, rips, tears, bends or creases whatsoever.  An incredible lot.  You will not be disappointed.
