Here is a handsome, well-cared for copy of the 1945 Harry James 78 rpm single "It’s Been A Long, Long Time" c/w "Autumn Serenade," as issued on Columbia 36838. This song has gained a new cult following via its memorable use in the Marvel Universe film Avengers Endgame.
This well-preserved copy was from a collector's complete Harry James discography and is in strong VG+. I've cleaned the record but you may wish to give it some further grooming. Both sides have impressive luster and are bright and clean. This copy would make an ideal presentation as a framed display and is a solid playing copy, having been cared for by its prior owner.
This fragile 78 rpm disc will be shipped using collector Robert Crumb's guidelines: it will be inside a multi-level "sandwich" of strong cardboard suspended in a field of styrofoam packing "peanuts" and enclosed within a sturdy box designed for the shipping of 78 rpm discs. I recommend having the record insured for its final sales value. Copies this nice don't turn up often, and this might make a great holiday gift for the Marvel Universe fan in your life (or for yourself).
