Herbie Hancock is a master of jazz and funk, perfecting his trade in Donald Byrd's group and the Miles Davis Quintet eventually becoming a primary driving force of post-bop and in 1970's began experimenting with jazz fusion, electro and funk styles.
"Thrust" was released in 1974 and is Herbie's second album with The Headhunters bringing a perfect jazz-funk sound over four fantastic tracks.
The track list features "Spank-A-Lee", "Butterfly", "Actual Proof" and "Palm Grease".
